Daikanyama, Tokyo is only one station away from Shibuya, you can walk to get there from Shibuya too. I’d introduce you things to do in Daikanyama where some people say it looks like Brooklyn because of its stylishness. I honestly don’t think like that since I’ve been to Brooklyn (actually I used to live there). Lol

Log Road Daikanyama
It is a small area which used to be a train rail of Tokyu Toyoko Line. It feels nature since its used wood and woods are planted. There are some shops in Log Road too.
T-site Daikanyama
T-site is an commercial site where restaurants and bookstore are at. A lot of people visit especially on weekend.

It is a perfect place for you to read books and have a coffee where I used to go often. Actually, I’ve met my husband here lol.
Tsutaya Bookstore is allowing you to read books with coffee. There are some rules like you can not take a note, take a picture, make a mess on books, and etc. As long as you keep following those rules, and you don’t need to buy books.

Kamawanu is a place for Tenugui which is Japanese hand towel. They have a lot of kinds of patterns, and it’s fun to find the one you’d like! It is also great for souvenirs.
Seria – 100 yen Shop
You can get stuff by 100 yen at Seria, You can find a lot of things, but I’d recommend you to check Origami, chopsticks, some stuff for bento, wrapping goods, and etc.

I love this baby & kid clothing store, and have bought a lot but not for myself. It is perfect for gift since they can personalize it.
I often buy baby bibs made with 100% organic cotton, and get a baby’s name on it for gift. If you are looking for something for baby shower or baby born gift, I would highly recommend you to check out this store 😉
Food in Daikanyama

They pick ingredients very carefully, and they blend wheats from Japan, from their own farm and their friend’s one. Not only wheats, also nuts, dried fruits, veggies and etc.
It’s very popular and it could be sold out before closing time!
All breads are produced by a famous chef Mr. Shiga (His own bakery is “Signifiant Signifie” in Setagaya, Tokyo).
