Daikanyama is one station away from Shibuya, and a very lovely place for any occasion like dating, hanging out with friends, gathering with a group of people, and eating out with your babies/kids. I am going to share my favorite restaurants; American, Japanese, Mexican, and etc.
Gohanya Isshin – Japanese Cuisine

This is one of my favorite places that I would go for Japanese food. You can go downstairs and find a Japanese-style restaurant with nice atmosphere.
They offer lunch which costs around $10, and it is not only well-balanced but also fills you up.
At evening, it turns more like Izakaya, but foods are very good not as same as other Izakaya which focuses on beverage (alcohol). Their foods are authentic, used good ingredients, and carefully prepared.
My Recommendation
Kakuni (Simmered Pork belly) – it simmered well and very soft texture.
Otsukuri – is a plate that sashimi is on. They get fresh fishes from Tsukiji each day.
