Shibuya is one of big area for shopping, food, amusement, and everything! I would introduce some shops that are popular and convenient for you to get some stuff like foods, snacks, cosmetics, clothes, etc. including souvenirs in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan.
Japanese Department Store
Tokyu Hands

If you are a group of people having different type hobbies, this is the place you should go! They have stationaries (pens, stickers, notebooks, diaries, etc), cosmetics, beauty products, outdoor stuff, party decoration, DIY, and products of Japanese taste which is perfect for souvenirs.
I recommend you to check the map first, since there are so many kinds of stuff in this store.
It’s difficult to get an elevator since there is not enough amount of them to visitors. There are number of calories that you use in each step which is interesting 🙂 Enjoy using stairs as exercise!
*NOTE* This place is very good for variety of products they have, not cheapness. So the price here usually doesn’t go down that much.

LOFT

LOFT is similar to Tokyu Hands. Personally I go to LOFT more than Tokyu Hands because it is on my way to get other shops.
Also in my opinion, they have more variety of stationary and kitchen (including Bento) stuff which I love! Well-organized so that easy to find what you are looking for. They also have souvenir section.
MUJI – Good Quality

Simple design and good quality
MUJI is very popular shop by its simplistic beautiful design. If you like the design of Apple, you might like it I guess.
They have a fine quality of clothes, furniture, stationaries, snacks, etc. with good price.
I know this is also located in other countries which helped me a lot when I lived in NYC, but they don’t have much variety of products selling in other countries.
The things that I would recommend you to check are notebooks, pens, and snacks!
Japanese Casual Apparel
Uniqlo – Clothes
この投稿をInstagramで見る
It might be one of famous “casual” apparel brands from Japan. I know you can find stores in other countries though, The size is different in Japan comparing you’d buy in USA. I highly recommend you to try them on.
GU – Clothes

GU is a sister shop of Uniqlo which is cheaper than Uniqlo. And there are not many of GU shops outside Japan.
The design and style are very simple as same as Uniqlo. With that being said, you can find similar clothes to Uniqlo with cheaper price.
Discount Store
Mega Donk (Don Quijote) Shibuya
Don Quijote is a discount store in Japan (They have some stores in USA though).
If you want to buy snacks and foods as souvenirs, you should go this place. It is a kind of messy not organized like department store or even Loft or Tokyu Hands, (no offense), but you can find many kinds of things with discount!
*NOTE*you need to go a specific register where you can get duty-free if you want.
100 yen ($1) store
DAISO Shibuya
この投稿をInstagramで見る
If you are living in California, you might know DAISO, although the price is MUCH cheaper there!
To be honest, this is the shop that i miss the most! (besides restaurant lol)
You can find many things there such as foods, snacks, stationaries, cosmetics, plates, cups, DIY, and so on! It is nice to buy some stuff like you don’t want to use much money here.
If i recommend you to get something here, I would say chopsticks and wrapping stuff for gift. It is not big or heavy which is perfect for packing!
*NOTE* It would be not 100yen if there is a sticker on it like “200” or “500”.

*There was another 100 yen shop named Seria in Shibuya before which i prefer, but it was closed. Although, they have stores in other areas.
Luxury Department Store
I am not sure what you are interested in buying, but here are department stores where you can find high-end shops.
Tokyu
You need to walk a bit to Tokyu Department Store, but it is very quiet and you don’t need to be bothered by many people walking around.
Seibu
Seibu is close to Shibuya station which is convenient so that many people might be there.
Shopping Mall
There are also shopping malls for more casual occasion. Most of them is connected/close to station, but Shibuya station is a bit tricky. The train stations are a bit apart from each other depends on which line you would use.
If you get Shibuya with,
- Keio Line –> Mark city (Connected)
- Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line / Tokyu Denentoshi Line –> Shibuya 109 (connected)
- Tokyo Metro Ginza/Fukutoshin Line / Tokyu Toyoko Line –> Shibuya Hikarie (connected)
You can also walk pathway to get each one, of course. But just let you know it is like a maze if it is first time for you to visit. You can ask people as well.
Shibuya Hikarie
There are many kinds of shops including apparels, cosmetics, accessories, furnitue, food & restaurants and etc.

Shibuya 109
If you are a big fan of Japanese fashion, this place has been a mecca for young people to shop for long years. I personally had been there every weekend when I was a teenager, but not anymore actually.
Shibuya Mark City
Marc City is a building with shops, restaurants, offices, and hotels which is very convenient.
In addition, there is very good Sushi place which is my favorite! I would write it in another article.
Shibuya Parco
Shibuya Parco is located 5 mins away from station, but popular place for shopping. I personally don’t go there much unless i have a specific reason to go.

Shibuya is where you can find most of anything as i mentioned at the beginning, hope you enjoy shopping there 😉
