3 kinds of Salmon & Torotaku
My favorite is “3 kinds of Salmon” which are seared salmon, salmon with ikura (salmon roe) and toro salmon (fatty) on the plate. Also i like their Torotaku which is a roll with combination of Toro (fatty tuna) and Takuan (Japanese Radish pickle).

Sushiro – Shibuya Station Square
Some of you might recognize Sushiro because they have some locations overseas, But the price is different as long as I know.
Popular Belt Conveyer Sushi Restaurant
Sushiro is a chain sushi restaurant that has the most number of restaurants in Japan. It was found in 1984.
Sushi for Cheap Price, 132 yen /plate
Mostly, it’s 120 yen (+ tax) per plate. There are some which cost more, but you can tell by its color of plate. * Usually it’s 100 yen / plate but it’s a bit more (+20 yen) at Sushiro restaurants in the city.
Lots of Variety of Noodle
Believe or not, they have good noodle dishes actually. The size of noodle bowl is small such as half comparing to normal one. So it is perfect to fill up your stomach after enjoying some plates of sushi.

Uobei – Shibuya Dogenzaka
View this post on Instagram
You need to walk up the hill named “Dougen zaka”, from Shibuya Station. As soon as you turn the corner, you might find a line in front of the shop.
Cheap Price Sushi 110 yen / plate
110 yen (tax included ) per plate that is cheap!!
My friend (from France) said she’d take whatever looks good even though sometimes she doesn’t know what that is, because she never know if she’d like/dislike it without trying, and it’s easy to try with cheap price. It does make sense! She ended up eating 12 plates but still cheap.
Counter Seats
Most of seats are counter, so that you need to sit down next to someone else. It’s ok if you are solo or small group, but it’s a bit hard to talk if you are a big group. Also I recommend you not to bring a huge bags there, there might be nowhere to put around you.
Multi Languages Touch Panel
They have a touch panel for each seat which means you have your own one, also you can choose the language in English, Chinese, and Korean which makes it easier for you to use it.

My Recommendation
So, I listed up some restaurants above, but here is what I would do.
I’d go to Sushi no Midori if I take my friends who has love Japanese style sushi (Nigiri). It tastes great but not too expensive.
To Maguro Tonya Miura Misaki ko Megumi at Hikarie if they want to try non-belt conveyer sushi but a bit cheaper. I think it’s good balance of quality and price.
If you have a small budget, and
- If you are hungry, go to Sushiro and eat some plates of sushi and a bowl of noodle.
- If you are with kids, go to Kura sushi.
- If you are a group of 2 or 3 of adults, go to Uobei.
It’s just an idea though.
There are many options for Sushi restaurant in Shibuya as I wrote above, hopefully this blog post helps you find one you’d like!
