There are some parks in Odaiba, i’d like to introduce some of them.
Odaiba Marine Park
This park was also used for Tokyo Olympic. Now it’s open for everyone.
You can enjoy fishing, marine sports, beach sports, etc. with conditions. Please check the website because you need to register in advance for marine sports and beach sports, also fishing is allowed in specific area.
Daiba Park
Japanese government built 6 batteries after Perry came to Japan from U.S. in 1853. One of them, the 3rd was at current Daiba park. You can still find some remains there.
- Remains of Stove
- Site of Explosives Storage
- Site of Gun Battery
Shiokaze Park
It reopened from April 2022 after Tokyo Olympic.
There is a beautiful promenade, BBQ site (where i had bbq before), plazas, etc.
Odaiba Beach
It’s man-maid beach in Odaiba, 800m wide, sands are from Kozushima which is one of Izu islands. There is Marine house nearby, where you can take a shower, use a locker, etc. *not free
Noted : you can enjoy the beach but you CAN NOT swim.
Odaiba Statue of Liberty
I know it’s a bit weird and you might be wondering why the statue of liberty is here in Odaiba. The reason was Paris rent it to Odaiba in 1998 for a year. It was very popular so they got a permission from Paris to make a replica and made it. It’s 17.4 meters high which is not big but one of the symbols of Odaiba.
Museum in Odaiba
There are also some museums in Odaiba area, which i have never been yet, however i’d like to put some information here.
National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation

National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation is also called “Miraikan”.
Mirai = Future, kan = building.
It is a museum where you can learn what is happening today from a scientific point of view. They have a regular exhibition, and temporally one too.
It’s a very nice opportunity to educate yourself, and i’d love to go!
Tokyo Water Science Museum
It’s for kids, i’d say.. it’s great place to learn how water comes from faucet, how important the nature is, etc.
In addition, the entrance fee is FREE!
Fuji TV
Japan doesn’t have many TV channels comparing to the U.S., one of them is called “Fuji TV”. You can visit the building.
It might be not fun if you are not familiar with any TV programs, but it might be fun if you have kids who are interested in some of their TV shows.
Did you find if it’s worth to visit for you or not? Hope you can find and enjoy your best things to do in Odaiba, Tokyo!
