Morning Glory was chosen for Michelin Guide Bib Groumand, located in Little Italy, Downtown San Diego.
You can find many kinds of breakfast dish from all over the world. One of their signatures is Japanese style souffle Pancake.
They do not accept any reservation, so there is always a line! You should go there at the opening time, or close to closing time!

You will find a long line if you go to Breakfast Republic around noon. The first restaurant started in North Park (North of Balboa Park), but they have many locations. Better to go early especially if it’s weekend.

Fig Tree & Cafe is located in Pacific Beach, Downtown, and Liberty station. The owner started this restaurant in Pacific Beach first before Breakfast Republic. Now they have multiple locations in San Diego.
There are typical American food such as Egg Benedict, Omelet, Pancake, French Toast, Sandwich, etc. Also Southern food; Grits, Mexican; Huevos Rancheros 🇺🇸🇲🇽

Wayfarer Bakery & Pastry : The Best Bakery in SD
Wayfarer Bakery & Pastry is my favorite bakery in San Diego!! Their croissant is awesome! 🥐 The left on the pic is Ham&Cheese, the right is Pistachio Strawberry. You might find a line, however it usually doesn’t take time!

Seaside Surf Cafe in Bird Rock, La Jolla is a good place for those who like to eat smoothie, acai bowl, pitaya bowl, etc. 🍹 It’s very nice to get some vitamins from “real” food before/after getting some sun! 🍓🍉🍌🥝

San Diego has a lot of good Mexican restaurant, especially Taco shop! The Taco Stand offers breakfast burrito. You might need to wait for a while since they cook for each order which means very fresh!!
Their California Burrito is my most favorite, by the way.
