Ishigaki : Fusaki Beach Resort Hotel & Villas – Review! in Okinawa

I’d write a review through my experience staying at “Fusaki Beach Resort Hotel & Villas” in Ishigaki island, Okinawa, Japan. Introducing what to expect for the room, views, facilities such as pools, activities, spa, etc. how to access, and so on.

This is not PR, so I am going to write down my honest thoughts on this hotel.

Fusaki Resort Village, Ishigaki island

Fusaki Resort Village, Ishigaki island, Okinawa, JAPAN
Fusaki Resort village is located in Northwest side of Ishigaki island. The beach is just there, very beautiful place to relax in Ishigaki island, Okinawa. You can enjoy the nature here, the beach, amazing sunset, starry sky, their garden filled with flowers 🌼🌺🌷

Access to Fusaki Resort Village from Ishigaki Airport

Taxi

It takes around 30-40 mins and costs about 3500 yen.

Car

It also takes 30-40 mins by car from Ishigaki Airport. You need to pay much attention during driving since it gets very dark after the sun goes down on the way to get there.

Shuttle bus

This is the easiest way and free!

They run shuttle bus, airport to their hotel both “Fusaki Resort” and “Art hotel Ishigakijima”.

You can have a look the time table from official site: http://www.fusaki.com/english/access

Rooms

There are some types of room, which means you can find the best room for your need like family room, a room with ocean view, patio, villas, etc.

Ryukyuan Red-tiles Cottages

I loved Garden Villas! There are palms lined up on path which makes us feel we are in the resort. I stayed at Villa standard Room with my best friend, which was very comfortable for 2 girls. There are twin bed, bathroom, TV, air conditioner, wardrobe, dryer, etc. It was nice that we felt like we were living in a Ryukyu style house.

Restaurants and bar

I don’t know if you are a type of person who wants to stay inside of this resort for most of times, but they cover food if you need.

They have some restaurants and cafe & bars there, so you can enjoy seafood, meat, cocktails, etc. I would assume that you can find most of anything you would like to eat!

I am a person who wants to eat outside of hotel generally to explore, if you are too, you might be also interested in this following article : restaurants/cafes in Ishigaki.

What You Can Enjoy at Fusaki

Fusaki Angel Pier

Angel pier at Fusaki Resort Village, Ishigaki island, Okinawa, JAPAN

In my opinion, this is the best view I had in this village! This beautiful pier is named “Fusaki Angel Pier”, the symbol of Fusaki Beach Resort Hotel & Villas according to their website 🐠🌴  You can walk to the end of the pier and enjoy the ocean view more than you can have from beach. It’s beautiful especially when it’s blue clear sky, and also at sunset time.

In addition, this is a good spot to take great photos! I’ve heard some pairs of couples take their wedding photos there which sounds amazing, doesn’t it? 💖

Pool and Beach

Needless to say, there is a beautiful beach

  • Beachside Pool
  • Indoor Pool
  • Splash Park

Activities

They have in-house activities and outside tours running by other companies.

In-house activities :

  • Morning yoga
  • Snorkelling
  • SUP
  • Dragon boat
  • Wake board
  • Clear Kayak
  • Kids program
  • Craft program (making candles, photo-frames, etc. )
  • and more!

You can go to the beach station for in-house marine activities, or tour desk for outside tours, but better check and make a reservation in advance! Because it might be changed or needs to be booked earlier.

Baby & Kids Room

There is also Baby & Kids room! How great! I’d love to go back after i get kids!

Others

Spa, bath & sauna (Tattoo is not allowed), shops, etc!

Review

I had a very good time staying there! I could enjoy the beautiful view at beach especially Fusaki Angel Pier, which was easy to access to the beach. I also spent nice relaxing time at the room with cozy bed and nice amenities.

At night, I loved the very quiet moment with starry sky with ocean breeze, how could it be better? Just perfect for me to have a refreshing & relaxing atmosphere far away from Tokyo where is concrete jungle with many people.

The staff there are very friendly and helpful, too.

Through my good experience, I’d recommend you to choose this place if you are looking for a place with non-super pricy but comfy.
